What type of meals do you offer?MoTi Meals makes high-quality, dehydrated meals. Just add boiling water and in twenty minutes or less you’ll have a hot meal on the trail, on-the-go, or in times of emergency. Meal offerings include vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and non-GMO options. Our meals are also amazing in the microwave. Add contents to a microwave safe bowl, add water and cook for 4 minutes. Bam!
-
How do you store MoTi Meals?Store your MoTi Meals under dry, sanitary conditions, without prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures and avoiding any environment that could cause damage to the packaging.
-
Your package is Omnidegradable. Does that mean compostable?Municipal compost facilities want products to decompose in 8-12 weeks in order to be considered “compostable”. Our packaging takes a little longer, so we do not claim it is “compostable”. It is biodegradable in many more places such as anaerobic landfills and oceans.
-
What is the shelf life of MoTi Meals? To maximize shelf life, store food unopened and avoid prolonged exposure to temperatures above 75°F (24°C). Follow these storage tips and you'll have delicious meals when you need it. MoTi Meals has a minimum shelf life of two years.
-
What happens after the shelf life has passed? The food doesn’t “go bad” after the shelf life, but the quality will start to diminish. You may notice a slight change in flavor or texture. That said, they are still tasty!
-
Do you process your meals in a facility that houses peanuts or tree nuts? Our meals are made in a facility that handles peanuts, dairy, eggs, soy tree nuts, fish and crustaceans.
-
What if I forget to remove the oxygen absorber before I add the water?Don't worry! Your food is still good. Just don’t eat the oxygen absorber.
